We hope our customers will find this site useful as an online color catalog.  Behind the curtain, the smoke and mirrors, that is what this site is.  You can print color copies of all these pages; then you will have a paper color catalog.  You can send these color copies all over the world-you have our permission and our blessing.  You can share our website with everyone you know-and any complete strangers you run into.  This is an activity we recommend with complete strangers so live it up!  Come in to our store!  Take a free self-guided tour!  You can also place orders!  You can contact us by: e-mail, fax, snail mail, or pick up the telephone and give us a call!  If you have questions about our products, want to place an order, need directions on how to get here, wondering how you're going to pay (I've given a somewhat convoluted explanation below), curious to know if Colorado is, in fact, one of the most beautiful places on Planet Earth (it is); give us a call!  Of course, if it suits your needs, send us an e-mail!  We may not respond to your e-mail immediately, but we will respond soon; during our "quiet time" (if we told you when our "quiet time" is, it wouldn't be "quiet time" would it?). 

Colorado Leather Goods was established in 1974 at the foot of Pikes Peak in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado.  For our first 25 years, we were both a manufacturer of Fine Leather Goods and a distributor and wholesaler of Leather and associated raw materials and supplies.  We now have concentrated all of our efforts on our Deerskin Trading Post and the raw materials business.  We do still manufacture our deerskin laces and we do a damn fine job with these.

→THE TWO EASIEST WAYS TO ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE ARE:

1. SEND US AN E-MAIL telling us what you'd like to buy.  Include quantities, colors, sizes, etc.  You may want to "copy" and "paste" from our website.  Include all of your credit card information as delineated below.  If you are uncomfortable emailing your credit card information, we can call you on the telephone for it or you can call us.....

2. CALL US ON THE PHONE.  We will take your order.  We will continue with shipping information and a phone number.

YOU MAY, OF COURSE, FAX AN ORDER OR SEND IT BY SURFACE OR AIR MAIL.

→There is an absolute $50.00 minimum for orders we ship out.  There is no minimum for counter service.

→We don't have a shopping cart.  The leathers we sell on this website make a shopping cart impractical.  The leathers are sold by the piece but priced by the square foot.  When someone was to click the "buy now" button for the leathers, there would be no way to know exactly what they were spending.

→We need the same information whether you are ordering by mail or by phone.    All goods are F.O.B. Colorado Springs.

→The Bean Counters want to know how you will be paying.  That's the way Bean Counters are. 
For your convenience, we accept VISA and MASTERCARD.  We will need all your credit card information every time you order-we don't store any credit card information-for our protection and your protection.  We need; the credit card number, the expiration date, the name as it appears on the card, the 3-digit code (CVV code, acronym for Card Verification Value) from the right side of the signature line on the back of the card, and the billing address for the credit card. (The address the credit card statement is mailed to.)  Please also include your telephone number as we may need to get in touch with you.  Obviously, these are all Bean Counter rules.
We also accept PAYPAL.  We do not have a "shopping cart" on our site.  All of the leather skins we sell are sold by the square foot and priced by the piece.  We don't know how much any particular skin you've ordered will cost until we've gone to our inventory and pulled the skin or skins for your order.  Therefore, the "shopping cart" is, for us, impractical.  If paying with PAYPAL, you will e-mail, FAX, snail mail, or phone in your order.  When we have your order packed and ready to ship, we will e-mail you an invoice through PAYPAL.  In the body of that invoice, there will be a link to PAYPAL that you will click on and pay our invoice through PAYPAL.  It's really all very simple.  I'm not sure why it took so many words to explain it.

→We naturally try to ship all orders as soon as we possibly can.  This can't always be the same day.  If you really need something-and of course you do- please call early-and we will do our best.

→UPS picks up at our door daily.  We ship UPS in the continental USA, USPS overseas. We like to keep a steady flow of products on their way to satisfy and please our customers.

→OUR STORE:  Colorado Leather Goods is a 37 year old Leather Goods Manufacturing and Mercantile Trading Company.  There is no other store in America like ours.  We have more Leather available than any other store.  We have something for everyone; Craftsmen, Collectors, Buckskinners, Native American, New Age, etc., etc.We have a tremendous variety of Beads, many of which are not on our website.  Our Leather selections include: Deer, Elk, Goat, Lamb, Pigskin, Cowhide of all types, Tooling Leather and more.  Fur and Hair-On products include Buffalo Robes, Hair-On Full Cowhides, Natural Sheepskins, Wolves, Coyotes, Foxes, River Otters, Rabbits, Ermine, and more.  No one is ever disappointed.  

→DIRECTIONS:  Take I-25 to US24 West.  Take US24 West (towards the mountains) (the mountains are awesome, don't forget your destination is Colorado Leather Goods, you can go to the mountains another time) to 21st Street.  Go North(right) on 21st street to Cucharras Street.  Take Cucharras Street West(left) one block to 22nd and Cucharras.  OR: Take Colorado Avenue (Business US24) to 22nd Street.  Go South on 22nd Street one block to 22nd and Cucharras.  WE ARE AT THE CORNER OF SOUTH 22nd STREET AND WEST CUCHARRAS AVENUE.
Colorado Leather Goods is located near the base of Pikes Peak on the West Side of Colorado Springs in what's known as the Old Colorado City National Historic District.  This neighborhood of Colorado Springs is immediately adjacent to Manitou Springs, Colorado.
